On 30 September, the second intoDBP Cyprus Case Study Board met at the University of Cyprus to share findings from the Limassol case study.
The presentations reflected the different parts of the project: the UCY Department of Psychology discussed drinking water choices and potential exposure to disinfection by-products (DBPs); S.K. Euromarket presented the MITO3X® pilot plant; Nireas-IWRC shared monitoring and treatment results; the UCY Department of Chemistry presented DBP analyses; and KIOS introduced Digital Twin tools for assessing risks in distribution networks.
The discussion brought together representatives from water authorities in Limassol, Nicosia and Larnaka, the Water Development Department, Public Health Services, the State General Laboratory, the Cyprus Water Association, the Cyprus Consumers Association, PHOEBE Research and Innovation, and CMMI.
