The ZeroPollution4Water cluster is bringing together leading experts to discuss strategies for preparing drinking water supply systems for climate change. Hosted by H2Oforall and SafeCREW, this joint webinar will feature case study insights from across the cluster, including intoDBP.
As part of the event, Valerie McCarthy (Dublin City University, Ireland) will present key findings from intoDBP’s Case Study 4 research on trihalomethane (THM) risk in Irish drinking water from peatland-dominated catchments. This research contributes to understanding and mitigating the formation of disinfection by-products (DBPs) in water treatment processes, an essential step toward ensuring water safety and quality.
