The ZeroPollution4Water (ZP4W) Cluster, which brings together EU-funded projects dedicated to tackling water pollution, will host a special side event during Water Knowledge Europe 2025 – Winter Edition, organised by Water Europe. The event will take place on 4 December 2025 (09:00–13:30 CET) at Thon Hotel EU, Brussels.
Under the title “Towards a Water Pollution-Free Europe: Building Synergies, Expanding Collaboration, and Strengthening the Cluster’s Impact,” the session will be a milestone moment for the Cluster, which continues to grow and strengthen cooperation between research and innovation projects addressing water pollution challenges.
The side event will:
-
Welcome eight new EU-funded projects joining the ZP4W community.
-
Redefine working groups and advance inter-project collaboration.
-
Co-design a shared vision and roadmap for impactful policy input and action toward a pollution-free European water future.
For the INTO-DBP project, which focuses on developing innovative tools and strategies to protect catchments and reduce exposure to disinfection by-products (DBPs), this event provides a valuable opportunity to present project results and connect with initiatives addressing water pollution from detection and treatment to prevention and governance.
As Water Europe’s flagship brokerage event, Water Knowledge Europe gathers researchers, innovators, policymakers, industry leaders, and investors to exchange knowledge and accelerate the transition toward a Water-Smart Society and Economy.
